ULGA AGM 2023

On 26th May, 2023 our marketing and public relations team represented the Corporation at the Uganda Local Governments Association (ULGA) annual general meeting (AGM) which was held at Hanahange Hotel- Busia.

Under the theme. ’Repositioning local governments for improved service delivery under effective constitutional policy decentralization’’, the ULGA AGM was attended by district chairpersons, district speakers, chief administration officers, sub country representatives and various invited guests.

As a strategy to deliver on the UPPC mandate as the chief government printer, mandated to print and distribute all laws of Uganda, the corporation’s participation was a fulfillment of our role to create awareness of all laws and amendments published by the corporation to the ULGA AGM national participants.

The UPPC team exhibited the various laws, legislations, amendments, acts to mention but a few at the event. This was targeted to enhance legal compliance practice of local government public servants in their day-to-day duties.

The engagement was a good opportunity for the corporation to obtain feedback about UPPC services at various regional levels, create awareness and enhance visibility of the UPPC brand, establish business opportunities and unlock the UPPC printing and publishing potential to the various national local government service providers. The team identified networks for establishing and pursuing possible mutual working relations.
