Masiga Benard is an accomplished Quality Assurance professional with over fourteen years of progressive experience in quality management, industrial operations, process optimization, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing and public sector institutions. He currently serves as the Quality Assurance Manager at the Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC), where he provides strategic leadership in establishing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems that align with national and international standards. Benard holds a Master of Science in Technology Innovation and Industrial Development and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry, complemented by professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Cleaner Production Technologies, Customer Care, Fire Management Principles, Quality Management Systems among others. His expertise encompasses process optimization, documentation and knowledge management, data and business analytics, and the development of Quality Management Systems. He has successfully led ISO 9001:2015 certification initiatives, supported ISO 17025:2017 laboratory systems, and driven Cleaner Production Technologies within various industrial settings. His professional background includes key positions at Cipla Quality Chemical Industries, Coca Cola Beverages Africa–Uganda, the Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory, and Abacus Parenteral Drugs Limited. He has actively participated in audits conducted by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the World Health Organization (WHO), and other regulatory bodies. Benard is recognized for his exceptional leadership skills, strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and commitment to fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
