Betty Ajambo is an experienced corporate governance and human resource management professional with over a decade of progressive experience across both the non-governmental and public sectors.
She currently serves as the Corporation Secretary at Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC), where she supports the Board and Management in matters of corporate governance, statutory compliance, board coordination, and organizational administration within a government-owned enterprise.
Prior to her appointment as Corporation Secretary, Ms. Ajambo served as the Human Resource Manager at UPPC, where she provided strategic leadership of the human resource function. In this role, she was a key contributor to the development of the Corporation’s Strategic Plan, aligning human capital strategies with UPPC’s long-term objectives. She also oversaw staff administration, performance management, employee relations, and the strengthening of internal HR systems.
Before joining UPPC, Ms. Ajambo worked with Heifer International Uganda and African Development Bank which exposed her to robust institutional systems and donor-funded organizational operations.
Ms. Ajambo brings to her current role strong expertise in strategic planning, corporate administration, governance support, and organizational development, underpinned by practical experience in both international development organizations and public sector institutions.
