UPPC Awarded Outstanding Innovative Publishing Company of the Year at KACITA Quality Awards 2026

October 7, Kampala, Uganda: The Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC) has been recognised as the Outstanding Innovative Publishing Company of the Year at the KACITA Quality Awards 2026, held at Hotel Africana in Kampala.

The award recognises UPPC’s continued commitment to innovation, quality and excellence in publishing, as well as its efforts to expand and modernise its products and services in response to the evolving needs of its customers.

As Uganda’s official Government Printer and publisher of the Uganda Gazette, UPPC has continued to strengthen its publishing and digital services, including the E-Gazette and UPPC Service Portal, while maintaining its core printing and publishing mandate.

The recognition comes at a time when UPPC is accelerating its transformation into a modern, customer-focused government publishing institution. Through the adoption of technology, improved service delivery and continuous innovation, the Corporation is leveraging its more than 120 years of experience to provide quality printing and publishing services.

The award is a testament to the Corporation’s ongoing transformation and the collective efforts of its staff, while reaffirming UPPC’s commitment to delivering innovative and quality solutions to its clients and stakeholders.
