UPPC Supports Entebbe Elderly Community


Uganda Printing and Publishing Corporation (UPPC), joined Good Deeds International with other partners to support the Entebbe elderly community at Mayor’s Gardens on Friday April 1, 2022.

 The one day event that involved provision of free health services to the elderly people of Entebbe by Kisubi Hospital and Entebbe Referral Hospital
was sponsored by UPPC, Change Africa Child, the Municipal council of
Entebbe, Making a Difference Uganda to mention but a few.

UPPC takes pride in extending support to all communities in need. At the event, the Corporation’s Public Affairs Manager, Ms. Rebecca Nyakairu noted that the Corporation has in its 120 years service not left any call of social responsibility unanswered. 

“Since its inception in 1902, UPPC has been situated in Entebbe. The call by Good Deeds International to the Corporation to participate and support the elderly community of Entebbe came as an opportunity to give back to our retired employees and the general public,’’ Nyakairu said.

“We have never left a call of supporting those in need unanswered. In a bid to strengthen our relationships, UPPC will continue to offer support to all
communities whenever we can’’ she added. 

UPPC is a public corporation mandated to print and publish laws, legal notices and public notices in the official Government newspaper, The Gazette. The corporation head offices are situated in Entebbe-Airport road with regional presence in cities like Kampala, Mbale, Jinja, Hoima, Mbarara, Fort portal, Kapchorwa among others.
